MEVA Valve PB G3/8 L
The one-way push-fit PB valve is used to connect gas appliances to a 2kg LPG cylinder. The valve serves only as a shut-off element for the LPG cylinder. It is not designed to regulate pressure or adjust flame intensity.

Connecting to the LPG cylinder:
Before connecting, check the connection neck of the gas cylinder for dirt or damage, and ensure the thread is not damaged. Remove any dirt. If the neck or thread is damaged, do not connect the valve to the cylinder. Replace the damaged cylinder with a new one. Before connecting to the LPG cylinder, check the condition of the valve seal. The thread that screws into the LPG cylinder must have a Type 4226 rubber seal. If the seal is damaged or worn, replace it. Screw the valve clockwise onto the LPG cylinder and tighten. The valve control knob must be in the closed position. Disconnecting from the LPG cylinder. Close the valve using the control knob and disconnect the appliance. Unscrew the valve from the LPG cylinder by turning it anti-clockwise.
Leak check:
Before each use, you must check the condition of the seal, the tightness, and the seal of all connections. Always perform the check with a foaming solution (e.g., soapy water), never with an open flame. Always check for leaks in the valve and other connections according to the instructions in the operating manual for the gas appliance you are connecting to the LPG cylinder with this valve.
Warning:
When connecting and disconnecting, a small amount of gas will leak before the valve is tightened into the cylinder neck, or after it is loosened from the cylinder neck. This is normal, and it is therefore necessary to screw or unscrew the valve from the cylinder as quickly as possible during the phase when gas is escaping. Protect the threaded part of the valve that screws into the cylinder from dirt to prevent impurities from travelling with the gas to the appliance's nozzle and clogging it.
