Chiclet-style keys: quieter typing with greater precision

The chiclet-style design of the HP 230 Wireless keyboard isn't just about aesthetics – the separated keys with more precise guidance ensure every keystroke is reliably registered and significantly reduce typing noise compared to standard membrane keyboards. The result is a keyboard that won't disturb colleagues in an open-plan office or family when working from home, while still offering pleasant tactile feedback for comfortable all-day typing.

16 months without changing batteries: a wireless keyboard without compromise

The HP 230 Wireless offers up to 16 months of battery life on a single charge, meaning you’ll only need to change the batteries about once a year – and certainly not in the middle of an important presentation or deadline. The 2.4GHz wireless connection with 128-bit AES encryption then ensures that data transfer between the keyboard and your computer is fast and secure.

Hewlett-Packard was founded in the difficult times of the Great Depression. The founders were a pair of friends whose name the company still proudly bears. They started their business in an unobtrusive garage near the city of Palo Alto. It is now a national monument. HP’s success lay not in copying existing products, but in the ability and courage to come up with something new.

The first commercial triumph was an oscillator that surpassed all competition in quality, yet sold at a quarter of the price. In 1968, HP released their first desktop computer - a desktop calculator. The company currently manufactures products primarily related to computer technology - computers and laptops, printers, scanners, digital cameras, servers, and last but not least, calculators.
