Quick drive installation and swapping

The Icy Box enclosure is designed for efficient data handling. Thanks to its trayless design and EasySwap function, you can install or replace a hard drive in seconds. Simply slide the drive directly into the enclosure, where it automatically connects to the SATA connector. What's more, Hot Swap support enables you to swap drives even while the computer or server is fully operational.

Silent operation and reliable cooling

Hard drives require cooling to operate. This model relies on a fully passive system. The entire aluminium body of the enclosure acts as a large heatsink, efficiently dissipating heat from the drive into the surroundings. The design contains no fan, which means silent operation without any distracting noises or vibrations. Passive cooling is suitable for both PCs and servers.

Data security and universal use

An integrated lock prevents unauthorised access and protects your data. Using the included key, you can lock the enclosure to prevent the hard drive from being accidentally ejected or stolen. The box is completely independent of the operating system and requires no driver installation thanks to Plug & Play support. It is powered by a standard 15-pin SATA connector.
