Mascom cable construction and connectors
The core of the cable consists of oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, which transmit the signal with minimal loss. Reliable transmission is also supported by shielding, which protects the signal from external electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with two F connectors featuring a 90° angled profile, making it easier to connect devices close to a wall. The connector contacts have a gold-plated finish that prevents oxidation and maintains a stable connection over the long term.
