Tea Garden India Darjeeling Puttabong FF tea
In this year's first spring harvest, you will find delicate teas with a beautiful aroma and a full, very pleasant flavour that will be a refreshing addition to your table. The aroma is fresh and floral, slightly sweet or even mildly spicy. India, alongside China and Sri Lanka, is the largest tea producer in the world. The tea industry here employs around two million people, and the total annual production is between 800 and 900 thousand tonnes. The vast majority of teas from India are black. Green tea is produced in larger quantities in the north-west of the country and is intended mainly for the Afghan and Iranian markets. Higher quality green and partially oxidised teas are successfully grown in Darjeeling.
