The CRS series combines a top-of-the-line router and a rack-mountable switch. The RouterOS system with an L5 licence provides detailed setup options, or you can choose the simplified SwOS. The MIKROTIK CRS328-24P-4S+RM routerboard gives you all the basic functions of a managed switch, plus some advanced ones, such as direct management of port-to-port forwarding, MAC filter application, VLAN configuration, traffic mirroring, bandwidth limiting, and even lets you adjust some MAC and IP header fields. For connectivity, there are four 10-gigabit SFP+ uplinks and 24 gigabit RJ45 ports with remote power via 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ or passive PoE, so you can power devices like access points (APs), IP cameras, and VoIP phones directly from the router.
