The motherboard features an advanced 12+1+1+1 Duet Rail Power System with P-PAK components, ensuring a stable power supply even under heavy loads. The combination of an 8-pin and a 4-pin CPU power connector, along with Core Boost technology, allows you to fully utilise the performance of Intel Core Ultra processors. The six-layer PCB design optimises bandwidth and data transfer speed, while the solid pins on the power connectors ensure low impedance and high durability when transferring high currents. The board is equipped with overcurrent protection for the USB ports, DDR memory, PWM circuits, and CPU, guaranteeing long-term system stability.
Memory support and expandability
Four DDR5 slots with Memory Boost technology and an SMT soldering process enable frequencies of up to 8600MHz when overclocking via XMP profiles. Memory Extension Mode provides optimised memory parameters for lower latency and higher performance, and it can be combined with XMP profiles to increase frequency. The board offers three M.2 slots, including a Lightning Gen 5 x4 with speeds up to 128GB/s, a Lightning Gen 4 with speeds of 64GB/s, and another slot with a speed of 32GB/s. All are protected by M.2 Shield Frozr cooling for optimal heat dissipation. Four PCIe x16 slots, including a PCIe 5.0 slot with SMT technology and Steel Armor construction, provide robust support for graphics cards and expansion devices. This is complemented by four SATA III connectors for traditional storage.
Networking and connectivity
The board integrates a complete networking solution with an Intel Killer 5Gb/s LAN port for wired connections and an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 module that supports speeds up to 46Gb/s, wider channels, higher modulation, and Multi-Link Operation technology, which ensures low latency and high throughput. The Intel Killer Performance Suite software automatically prioritises applications, analyses bandwidth, and optimises access point selection for high network performance. The EZ Antenna with its magnetic stand allows for easy, rotation-free installation. The Thunderbolt 4 port provides a total bandwidth of up to 160Gb/s with adaptive allocation, support for external 8K displays, and 27W power delivery.
