Powerful MSI Cubi mini computer
At the heart of the computer is a ten-core Intel Core 5 120U processor with a base frequency of 1.4GHz and up to 5GHz under load. This processor features 12 threads and a 12MB cache. An integrated air cooler provides active cooling for internal components to maintain stable operating temperatures. The entire device runs on an Intel SoC chipset with a TDP of 15W, contributing to low power consumption.
DDR5 RAM
The system includes two DDR5-SDRAM memory modules with a total capacity of 16GB, operating in a dual-channel configuration at a frequency of 5600MHz. The motherboard has a total of two SO-DIMM slots, which are fully populated from the factory with two 8GB modules. The user can increase the total RAM capacity up to 64GB by replacing the existing modules. The fast system memory facilitates the smooth running of several applications at once.
Thunderbolt 4 interface
The mini computer offers a Thunderbolt 4 connector on the front panel, which supports DisplayPort 1.4 video transfer and 15W Power Delivery. This port is complemented by two USB connectors with a fast data transfer rate of 10Gb/s for connecting external drives or other peripherals. The front also includes a combo audio jack for a headset with a microphone.
Dual network connection
The computer offers two RJ-45 Ethernet ports on the rear panel for a wired connection to the local network. The first port supports speeds of 1Gb/s via a Realtek RTL8111H network chip. The second integrated port offers a high throughput of up to 2.5Gb/s thanks to the Realtek RTL8125BG-CG chip. An Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 module and Bluetooth version 5.3 technology provide wireless communication.
Video output for three monitors
The integrated Intel Graphics card shares system memory and can connect to up to three monitors simultaneously. The front Thunderbolt 4 port serves as a third output with DisplayPort 1.4 alternate mode, which handles 4K video transfer at 60Hz. The computer also includes an HDMI 2.1 interface and a separate DisplayPort 1.4 on the rear of the case.
Internal storage expansion options
Data is stored on a 512GB SSD connected via an M.2 PCIe Gen4 × 4 NVMe interface. Inside the case is one free bay for a 2.5″ drive, which can be used to add another SSD or HDD to increase storage capacity. An integrated TPM 2.0 security chip supports hardware-level data security.
