Keys and construction
The plastic construction holds 61 standard-sized keys with a glossy finish. The non-weighted keyboard with touch sensitivity responds to how hard you press the individual keys while playing. It weighs a total of 4.8kg with external dimensions of 100 × 860 × 320mm. The instrument can be easily transported between home, the classroom, and the rehearsal room. The black colour of the plastic chassis matches standard musical instruments, and the finish makes it easy to wipe away dust.
Sound library and accompaniments
The instrument offers a selection of 255 different sounds and 255 rhythmic accompaniments. The built-in speakers deliver 6W of power and reproduce tones with 16-note polyphony. Users can use the Vibrato and Sustain effects to modify the final sound. These elements help when experimenting with different musical genres. The sound system delivers the tones without needing to connect external amplifiers during regular practice.
Learning system
The integrated learning system includes three lesson modes: One Key, Follow, and Ensemble. The One Key mode helps you practise rhythm. The Follow mode pauses the accompaniment until the player presses the correct key. The Ensemble mode helps you practise both the pitch and tempo of a piece. There are also 24 demo songs available for inspiration.
Creative and recording features
The keyboard offers Split and Layer functions to divide the keyboard and layer sounds. There's also an integrated metronome for keeping perfect time during practice. Users can record their own played compositions directly into the instrument's memory and then play them back. This function is useful for analysing mistakes and tracking progress. You can activate sound recording.
Connectivity
It includes connectors for attaching external devices. The 3.5mm jack headphone output enables silent practice without disturbing others. The microphone input lets you connect a vocal pickup and also offers an AUX IN for external audio sources. It is powered via the DC input using the supplied mains adapter. This instrument does not include USB ports or a MIDI interface.
Display and controls
A clear display shows the current settings for the selected sound, rhythm, and tempo. The control panel contains buttons for quick function selection and volume adjustment. A music stand, which can be attached directly to the body of the instrument, is included in the package. Mains power is supplied via the included adapter. The panel also features controls for starting accompaniments and the metronome.
