The NetGear GS108GE is a powerful and energy efficient switch from Netgear, the world's leading provider of information and communications technology. It is the ideal choice wherever you need reliable and high performance in critical applications. It provides up to 10 times faster connections than a traditional Ethernet connection and meets the green standard of NETGEAR Green, which ensures up to 60% less power consumption. It reduces the energy consumption when there is light traffic on an active port or when there is no link or activity detected.
The switch had 8 ports to easily connect all network devices at all speeds, 10, 100 and 1000 Mb/sec, with both Windows and Macintosh support. The LEDs provide a quick overview of the connection status and speed. The model allows instant connectivity and is easy to use. A compact metallic finish lets you place it anywhere, including support for wall mounting.
