nJoy Argus 3000

The nJoy Argus 3000 backup power supply provides protection for servers and network components in a rack-mount design. This line-interactive UPS has an apparent power of 3000VA and a real power of 1800W. Its Pure Sine Wave output powers even sensitive electronics without risk of damage. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects mains fluctuations, which saves the internal batteries. Eight IEC C13 sockets supply power to connected devices, all of which have both battery backup and surge protection. At half load (900W), it keeps the system running for 7.5 minutes. The integrated LCD displays the operating status and measured values. Its compact design is suitable for mounting in a standard 2U rack.

Power and voltage stabilisation

The line-interactive topology uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), which stabilises the output voltage within a ±10% range without switching to the battery. The power supply delivers an apparent power of 3000VA and a real power of 1800W. The backup time at a full load of 1800W is 2 minutes, while at a half load of 900W it extends to 7.5 minutes. The input voltage can fluctuate within a wide range of 165 to 276VAC, reducing the frequency of battery use.

Battery and protection features

Inside are four internal GP09122L batteries, which can be replaced when needed after verifying compatibility. Deep discharge protection extends their lifespan. The cold start function starts the UPS even without mains power. The Emergency Power Off (EPO) port is used for critical situations. The supply also supports power from a generator and automatic restart after power is restored.

Connectivity and sockets

RS232 and HID USB communication ports handle connection to a computer or server, complemented by a slot for installing an optional SNMP card for network management. Eight IEC C13 output sockets provide backup and surge protection for all connected devices. An RJ-45 port is also included for data line protection.
