Powerful motor and robust, anti-vibration construction
This turntable's design builds on the strengths of the PLX-1000 model. It is driven by a high-torque DC motor with a three-speed controller (33, 45 or 78 RPM). The top cover protects the turntable from dust and damage from small objects. However, its overall more robust design, which absorbs vibrations, plays a more significant role in its protection. This is where the Pioneer PLX-500-K stands out from its predecessor.
