The PremiumCord data cable is used to connect hard drives, SSDs and optical drives to a computer's motherboard. This data cable supports the Serial ATA III standard, which offers a transfer speed of up to 6Gbit/s. One of the connectors is angled at 90°. To prevent accidental disconnection, the connectors are equipped with a metal latch. The cable is also backwards compatible with the older SATA II and SATA I standards.
