Access management with the Tuya app
The cylinder is compatible with the Tuya app, which works on both Android and iOS phones. The cylinder connects to your phone via Bluetooth. In the app's interface, which is available in English, you can manage all users and their permissions. You can add new fingerprints, cards, or codes and set time windows for when their access will be active. The app also keeps a record of all unlocks, so you have an overview of who opened the door and when. Remote code management is handled by a Gateway, which is not included in the package.
Four ways to unlock
The cylinder lock offers four different ways to unlock your door. The fastest is authentication using a fingerprint, IC card, or by entering a numerical code, where evaluation takes just 0.3 seconds. The lock's memory can hold up to 100 fingerprints, 100 IC cards, and 100 codes. As a fourth option, you can unlock via Bluetooth in the mobile app. The package includes two IC cards with a FUDAN chip operating at a frequency of 13.56MHz, so you can start using them right away.
Durable design and power supply
The body of the cylinder is a combination of aluminium alloy and brass. Thanks to its IP54 rating, the cylinder is protected against dust ingress and splashing water. The cylinder operates at temperatures from -12°C to +70°C. Power is provided by three AAA batteries with a life of approximately one year. If they become completely discharged, emergency power is available via the USB-C port, to which you can connect a power bank, for example, and unlock the door.
Remote management via Wi-Fi requires a Gateway, which is not included in the package.
