The Seasonic Focus GX-750 PC power supply delivers stable energy to PC builds with high performance demands. With a total output of 750W and an 80 PLUS Gold certification, it provides an ample reserve for running power-hungry graphics cards and processors. Its design fully complies with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 specifications, which includes the presence of a 12V-2x6 connector. The fully modular cable management contributes to a cleaner internal layout and improves airflow. Thanks to its compact 140mm depth, installation is seamless in most standard PC cases.
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, the key parameter besides the form factor is its power output. This indicates the maximum number of watts the power supply can continuously provide to the components in the computer. It is advisable to use a web-based calculator to work out the optimal power based on your chosen components.
The power supply is fully compatible with the ATX 3.1 specification, which defines stricter requirements for handling high power spikes. It includes a native 12V-2x6 connector for the PCIe 5.1 standard, which reliably powers graphics cards with high energy consumption without the need for adapters. This makes it ready for future generations of hardware.
High energy efficiency is confirmed by the 80 PLUS Gold certification, which defines a minimum efficiency of 90% at 50% system load. This value means that only a small portion of electrical energy is converted into unwanted waste heat. Lower energy losses result in less heat radiation, leading to reduced operating costs and less wear on internal components. The reduced thermal load also places fewer demands on the active cooling of the power supply and the entire build.
Heat dissipation is managed by a 135mm fan with fluid dynamic bearings, controlled by advanced Digital Hybrid Fan Control technology. This system operates in three distinct phases: passive (Fanless), quiet (Silent), and active (Cooling). At low loads, the fan remains completely off for silent operation. As the temperature or load increases, the fan smoothly starts spinning in silent mode at low speeds. Full cooling power is only activated under high load.
The internal layout uses OptiSink technology, which is based on a completely redesigned printed circuit board (PCB). By using smaller MOSFET transistors and heatsinks, more space has been created inside the power supply for air circulation. This solution improves heat dissipation from key components and increases overall thermal conductivity. More effective cooling contributes to more stable operation under high load and extends the lifespan of all electronic components.
The power supply integrates a comprehensive set of protections, including over-voltage (OVP), under-voltage (UVP), over-current (OCP), over-power (OPP), short-circuit (SCP), and over-temperature (OTP) protection. These mechanisms protect all connected components from damage in the event of abnormal operating conditions. The fully modular cabling lets you connect only the necessary cables.
The 80 Plus certification was created to objectively evaluate the efficiency of computer power supplies. This provides users with a simple and clear comparison between different models. On the European market (where a voltage of 230V is used), there are six levels of 80 Plus certification with set requirements for computer power supplies. Higher energy efficiency primarily means lower energy consumption.
