The SENCOR SSM 9976GD toaster feautres a "lock" mechanism to make the perfect sandwich. The hotplates can be taken out and cleaned in the dishwasher. You can also use it for toasting waffles. There's no need to cut the toasted sandwich once it's finished because the hotplates will divide it up for you. In case you like to grill paninis, this toaster also has grill hotplates.
