How can I make a complaint about a product?

You can easily complain about the products using our template. After completing it, you will receive a complaint serial number (RMA). Include this serial number when you can hand over the product at any of our stores or when you post the product to any of our stores.

  • Prepare the product and package it securely
  • Enclose a cover letter describing the damage/defect, attach a copy of your proof of purchase and your address for notification. Also include your bank account number in case the purchase price gets refunded

The goods I purchased are faulty—what should I do?

Return the goods by post with a cover letter within 30 days of receipt.

What documents do I need in order to make a claim?

You will need the order number plus a covering letter detailing the nature of the defect and your contact details.

Should I include the product's accessories in the claim?

Yes, the accessories may have caused the defect or may be necessary in order to test the device properly.

If one of the accessories has a defect, is it necessary to also send the main product when making a claim?

Yes. Generally, it is not possible to make separate claims on accessories; therefore, it is recommended to send the main product as well.

Do I need the product's original packaging?

The original packaging is not necessary to make a claim but it is advisable to use the original packaging when posting the goods to prevent damage.

If I return a device for repair, will I lose the data on it?

It is highly likely. If the device can be repaired and in order to eliminate any potential negative effects from third-party applications, it will return from service reset to factory settings. We recommend that you backup your data regularly — not only before submitting a claim.

I received a notice saying the goods are irreparable. What can I do?

Just send us the original report by mail. After verifying the protocol with the supplier, we will send you a credit note as a refund.

Yes, you can return products to us without giving any reason within 30 days of receipt of the order. The reason for returning does not have to be stated in the return notice. However, we would like ask that you return the products in their original packaging if possible. If the original packaging is not available, return the products in packaging offering a similar level of protection as the original packaging. Please return your goods undamaged.

Can I return the products to the Budapest pickup point?

Yes, you can return the products to the Budapest pickup point within 30 days of receiving your order. However, we would like ask that you return the products in their original packaging if possible. If the original packaging is not available, return the products in packaging offering a similar level of protection as the original packaging. Please return your goods undamaged.

How do I return products?

First, you must register the return online by logging in to your My Alza account and filling in the required information in the Return Goods section. Please return the product by return receipt to this address: Alza.hu, Budapest, 1134 Róbert Károly krt. 54-58.

To ensure you are refunded as quickly as possible, please include a cover letter referencing your order number and contact details; if you paid by credit or debit card, the name of the bank account holder, IBAN number, and SWIFT code must be included in order for us to process the transaction.

Can I return any kind of goods?

A list of goods that cannot be returned can be found in our Terms & Conditions.

When will I get my money back?

Online Card Payments: Bank accounts are refunded within 30 days of receiving your return order or contract withdrawal via International Bank transfer.

PayPal Payments:PayPal accounts are refunded immediately upon receipt of your returned order or contract withdrawal.

In what condition should I return the goods?

The ordered products should be returned in the same condition as they were received by the customer. This includes returning the complete order documentation, products and parts in undamaged, clean condition and in their original packaging. If the product has a container, it must be returned empty.

However, in order to avoid damage, we ask that you return the products in their original packaging if possible or, if the original packaging is not available, return the goods in a packaging offering a similar level of protection to the original packaging. If items are not returned in their original condition, you may not be refunded the entire amount of your purchase.

Can I return goods I received as a gift?

All conditions for withdrawal from the contract and returning the products are set out in Chapter IV of the General Terms and Conditions.

When you make a claim, you will be given a claims number (RMA).

Return the goods for inspection by a technician. The goods will then be sent for repair or replaced by a new piece.

We'll keep you informed, so that you always know the status of your claim.   

Claims are settled in the shortest time possible — within 30 days at the latest.

You can return the product within 30 days of purchase. Just fill out the online form and send the item to the store or hand the product over in the store.

  • If you notice the damage within 48 hours of receipt, contact the shipping company immediately
  • In any other case, contact our customer service at +36-1-701-1111 or bring the product to any Alza.hu store, as soon as possible
  • We recommend that you prepare photo documentation and return the product along with the packaging and accessories
