The Jurek ALP 2.5 lite is a single-entrance, lightweight, double-skinned dome tent with a rectangular groundsheet. It is suitable for all types of hiking in up to moderately demanding conditions and for frequent, careful use. The tent can also be used in winter (it is recommended to sew a 'snow collar' around the perimeter of the flysheet). The inner tent is firmly attached to the groundsheet. It is suspended from the poles using tension cords and hooks. At the apex of the inner tent, there is a ventilation opening covered with a fine mesh. The entrance to the inner tent also features a mosquito net made of fine mesh for enhanced ventilation and protection against insects. This model is made from a lightweight flysheet material (cedar green colour only).

Lightweight construction and quality materials
The outer tent (flysheet) is stretched over the structure and is secured at the bottom to the ends of the poles. The flysheet extends beyond the inner tent entrance to create a small vestibule, which allows for storing gear (it is not intended for cooking). Guylines on the edges and in the middle of the flysheet's sides are used for anchoring. At the top, there are two vent 'cowls'. There is an approximate 6cm gap between the walls of the inner and outer tents, which improves thermal comfort, ventilation, and reduces condensation. This gap can be adjusted as needed by loosening or tightening the inner tent's tension cords.
Lightweight RIPSTOP fabric with Japanese PU and silicone treatment
A very dense, lightweight polyamide RIPSTOP fabric coated with a special Japanese PU and silicone. While the Japanese PU and silicone treatment improves the dimensional stability of the polyamide fabric, it still stretches more in high humidity compared to standard polyester fabric, and you should anticipate the need to re-tension the flysheet made from this polyamide fabric. The special silicone treatment of the polyamide fabric improves its UV resistance; however, the degradation of polyamide fabrics due to UV radiation increases geometrically with altitude.

Water Column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It specifies the amount of water the material can hold before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the more resistant the tent is. Every tent should have a flysheet with a water column of at least 2,000mm, which is roughly the pressure exerted by a raindrop travelling at 80–90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000mm is a safer bet. For the groundsheet, a water column of 5,000mm is recommended for general hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a groundsheet with a water column of 8,000–10,000mm.Specifications
