Japanese damascus blade with cutting core made of VG10 steel was combined with a hardwood handle. The knife has a "SanMai" (JAP) style sandwich blade construction. Blade material
Damascus steel with cutting core made of Japanese stainless steel VG10 hardened to 60 HRC +-2 HRC. The very hard cutting core is surrounded on both sides by steel with high toughness and elasticity, which ensures the knife is unbreakable while maintaining a long-lasting edge. The blade (cutting core and side damascus steel around the cutting core) is made entirely of stainless steel and at the same time a very hard cutting core is achieved. This is evidence of a quality material, where the component that ensures that the steel does not corrode is combined with a material that ensures high hardness. This combination is highly appreciated by the greatest knife experts who understand knife steels. If the knife falls to the ground, there is no risk of it being destroyed thanks to the protection of the very hard cutting core of the more flexible side steel.
