Dumbbell Shafts

The main difference is between the dumbbell shafts and barbell bars. The most important parameter when choosing a shaft is its diameter, which must match the diameter of the hole in your weight plates. The two base dimensions are 30 and 50 mm.

Dumbbell shafts

  • 30 mm in diameter.
  • Can accommodate up to four smaller weight plates on each end.
  • Weight plates must be secured with clamps.

Barbell bars

  • Length from 120 to 220 cm.
  • Shorter bars (up to 160 cm) are suitable for arm exercises, while longer bars (over 160 cm) are meant for bench press and squats.
  • Curved bars allow you to train biceps and triceps from different angles.
