The bell itself can be fixed with strong 3M adhesive tape or securely attached with screws, depending on the type of surface. Adjustable tilt up to 15° allows you to adjust the angle of view so that the doorbell senses the area in front of the door exactly to your needs. Just place the monitor at the recommended distance from the input and the router. The wireless design makes installation clean, flexible and without unnecessary modifications.
Correct positioning ensures maximum performance
For maximum reliability, we recommend placing the SwitchBot Smart Video Doorbell monitor as close to your router as possible to ensure a stable 2.4GHz WiFi connection. In family houses, it is ideal to install the monitor within 10 metres of the front door, and in apartments within 5 metres, with as few obstacles as possible between the doorbell and the monitor. If you have thick or concrete walls, it is recommended to shorten the distance even further for optimal transmission quality.
