Collect forest resources in the Hungarian game Pagony
The board game Pagony transports one player to a mysterious forest environment full of berries and animals. Your task is to create the most valuable forest area based on the randomly drawn scoring recipe cards. During the game, you collect blackberries, sweet chestnuts and mushrooms, which are found in different layers of the forest. Using special dice, you keep track of the amount of resources you've gathered and strive to get the highest score possible. This family game is designed for 1 player aged 14 and over, and one game takes 10 minutes.

Gameplay and gathering berries
As you build your forest, you use forest area cards, which are divided into bushes, leaves, and soil. Each type of surface grows a different kind of food, such as blackberries, chestnuts or wild mushrooms. Players place individual cards next to each other and create continuous areas full of food for the forest's inhabitants. By correctly combining the squares and completing the tasks on the back of the cards, you earn the points needed to win. Every decision affects the final form of your forest ecosystem.
Components and multiplayer options
The basic package contains cardboard forest area cards and fifteen wooden dice. These dice are used to mark the amount of food collected in individual parts of the forest and also feature a mouse symbol. Although the game is primarily designed for one player, it can also be played with more people if each player has their own pack. All game materials and the included rules are in Hungarian.
