Connectivity and speed
The device uses the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard and operates exclusively on the 5GHz band, providing data transfer speeds of up to 867Mb/s. For effective long-distance transmission, it uses high-gain 23dBi directional antennas and 2×2 MU-MIMO technology, which optimises communication with the opposite point. The narrow beamwidth of the antennas (9° horizontal and 7° vertical) concentrates the signal into a precise beam, which strengthens the link's stability. This kit is factory-preconfigured for immediate deployment as a wireless bridge (PtP) with a range of up to 15km, eliminating complex setup. The IP65-certified construction is dust-tight and protected against water jets. Paired with 6kV lightning protection, it maintains reliable operation in outdoor environments in all weathers. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 70°C, confirming its resilience to climatic conditions.
Security and management
Wireless transmission is protected by wireless encryption, MAC address filtering, VLAN network segmentation, and rogue access point detection. The device is managed via the Omada mobile app, which also helps with antenna alignment, or through a web interface. Integration into the Omada SDN platform supports centralised cloud management of multiple devices and their remote configuration. The device operates in wireless bridge (PtP) mode.
Connection options
A single Gigabit Ethernet port is used for network connection, which fully utilises the 867Mb/s wireless speed without the risk of a bottleneck. Installation flexibility is increased by support for two power types. The port supports 802.3af PoE as well as 24V or 48V Passive PoE, which simplifies installation by running data and power through a single cable. The package includes a Passive PoE adapter and a mounting kit for easy pole mounting.
