Ubiquiti AFI-ALN-R - Amplifi Alien

Ubiquiti AFI-ALN-R - Amplifi Alien
The Ubiquiti AmpliFi Alien WiFi system functions as a Wi-Fi 6 access point, operating on two frequency bands with a total transfer speed of up to 5952Mb/s. The device combines advanced networking technologies to achieve a stable wireless connection throughout your home. The integrated 4.7" colour touchscreen displays the current network status and simplifies its setup. This dual-band access point uses a total of 16 spatial streams for efficient signal distribution to many devices simultaneously.

Wireless connection with the Ubiquiti WiFi system
The device supports the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard as well as older 802.11a/b/g/n/ac specifications. The total wireless speed is 5952Mb/s, which is split between two frequency bands: 1148Mb/s on the 2.4GHz band and 4804Mb/s on the 5GHz band. 8×8 MIMO technology on the 5GHz band and 4×4 MIMO on the 2.4GHz band ensure stable data transfer even under heavy load. The use of MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies increases the overall network capacity and eliminates latency when communicating with multiple client stations. TX beamforming also supports signal routing.
Wide coverage and Mesh technology
A single standalone access point can cover an area with a strong and stable signal. You can easily expand the system by adding more Alien units to create a unified mesh network with a single name. The wireless network can handle up to 120 active devices connected simultaneously without any loss of performance. True Gigabit Mesh technology supports fast roaming between individual nodes as you move around the space.
Network security with the Ubiquiti AmpliFi Alien
Transmitted data is protected by WPA2 encryption, which is complemented by a built-in firewall to prevent unauthorised external access. Network traffic is optimised by the QoS function for prioritising selected services. The free Teleport service creates a secure VPN connection to your home network from anywhere in the world. Other security features include guest traffic isolation and VLAN support.
Connectivity options
Wired connections to the internet and other network elements are handled via gigabit Ethernet ports. You can easily connect your wired devices using the five available Ethernet connectors on the back of the access point, which include one 1Gb/s RJ-45 WAN port and four 1Gb/s RJ-45 LAN ports.
