6TH SENSE technology – washing adapted to the load
6TH SENSE technology uses sensors that recognise the amount of laundry and adapt the washing process to the specific load. The WHIRLPOOL FFD 8489 BCV EE washing machine adjusts the temperature, amount of water, and cycle length as needed to ensure laundry is washed effectively without unnecessary consumption. This makes it ideal for daily washing of various types of fabrics and helps save water, energy, and your time.
FreshCare+ for fresh laundry after the wash finishes
The FreshCare+ function takes care of your laundry even when you can't remove it immediately after the programme finishes. A combination of gentle drum movements and steam action helps keep laundry fresh, fluffy, and less creased for up to 6 hours after the cycle ends. This gives you more flexibility when doing laundry during the day or in the evening.
Freshen up laundry with Steam Refresh
Steam Refresh is a practical choice for clothes that don't need a full wash but could do with a quick refresh. Steam penetrates the fibres, helping to reduce odours and smooth out creases, so garments can be ready to wear again in about 20 minutes. This function of the WHIRLPOOL FFD 8489 BCV EE washing machine is ideal for items like shirts, blouses, or clothes that have been stored in a wardrobe for a long time.
More hygienic care with Steam Hygiene
Steam Hygiene uses the power of steam for a more hygienic treatment of laundry during the wash cycle. The steam care is gentle on fabrics and helps provide better care for laundry where you want a more thorough result. The function is suitable for everyday clothes, bed linen, and textiles that frequently come into contact with sensitive skin.
Rapid 30' wash for smaller loads
The Rapid 30' programme is designed for lightly soiled laundry that you need to wash in less time. It's suitable for smaller daily loads, sportswear, or items you want to quickly freshen up without a long programme. This means you can have clean laundry ready in just half an hour.
