General Terms and Conditions for Entrepreneurs

THIS ENGLISH TRANSLATION IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IN THE EVENT OF ANY DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE ENGLISH AND HUNGARIAN VERSIONS, THE HUNGARIAN VERSION OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL PREVAIL.

I. Introductory Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") regulate the relationship between the parties when buyers (hereinafter referred to as "Buyer") enter into a contract with Alza.hu Kft (registered office: 1134 Budapest, Róbert Károly krt. 54-58.; tax number: 25745849-2-41; company registration number: 01-09-286873) as the seller (hereinafter referred to as "Alza"; the Buyer and Alza hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Parties").

Under these General Terms and Conditions, the Buyer enters into a contract with Alza.hu Kft. not only when ordering from the online store at www.alza.hu but also when making purchases at Alza's physical stores in Hungary.

Detailed information about Alza can be found in the "About Us" section on the www.alza.hu website.

For the purposes of these GTC, only entrepreneurs are considered Buyers.

Entrepreneur:

An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person who acts within the scope of their profession, independent occupation, or business activity and, in this capacity, enters into a contract with Alza. If the Entrepreneur fills in the company name and/or tax number on the order form operated by Alza's online store, the Entrepreneur acknowledges and accepts the application of the specific rules defined in these GTC, which apply exclusively to entrepreneurs.

Since these GTC have been published on Alza’s website and are therefore accessible and available for review by all Buyers before entering into a contract, by placing an order or checking the designated "checkbox," the Buyer acknowledges and confirms that they have reviewed the content of these GTC before contracting. In particular, the Buyer has familiarized themselves with the declarations and warranties set forth in Chapter II and acknowledges that the Complaints Code and Shipping Information form an integral part of the GTC. The Buyer also declares that they have explicitly reviewed and accepted the valid and effective text of these GTC and their annexes at the time of placing the order.

The Buyer acknowledges that purchasing products from Alza does not entitle them to use Alza’s contractual partners' trademarks, trade names, company logos, or any other registered marks unless a separate agreement has been made between the Parties for specific cases.

The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy and validity of the data provided when ordering products/services/digital content and guarantees their authenticity.

If the Buyer orders products and/or services, they will receive an invoice via email, which includes the details of the agreement between the Parties.

II. Pre-Contractual Declarations

Alza declares and warrants that:

  1. The cost of electronic communication is not charged to the Buyer by Alza. Alza does not impose any additional fees on the Buyer's internet/telephone service provider; however, this does not apply to shipping costs.
  2. The Buyer is required to pay the purchase price before receiving the ordered products from Alza or, in the case of cash-on-delivery payment, at the time of product collection. Additionally, the Buyer must pay an advance for certain special services if Alza has indicated this in advance or if the Buyer has specifically requested it.
  3. As a general rule, Alza does not enter into contracts for continuous performance. If Alza does enter into such a contract, the Buyer will receive appropriate information regarding the minimum contract duration and the price applicable during the relevant billing period (which, in the case of a fixed price, is always a one-month period) or the method of price calculation.
  4. Unless otherwise specified, the license fee for an indefinite-term license agreement applies for the entire duration of the contract.
  5. The prices of products and services available in the Alza-operated online store indicate whether VAT is included and whether any additional legally required charges apply (if any). After logging into their user account, Buyers have the option to enable a convenience feature provided by Alza, allowing them to see VAT-excluded prices for products in the online store accessible exclusively to Buyers (except on the order summary page). This feature can be disabled at any time. However, shipping costs may vary depending on the selected delivery method, courier, and payment method. Alza informs the Buyer about the shipping cost before the order is placed.
  6. Contracts and invoices are stored in an electronic archive managed by Alza, which all Alza users can access through their user accounts.
  7. Pre-Order Rules:
    • 7.1. In the case of pre-orders, the indicated price is for informational purposes only and may differ from the final product price. Alza informs the Buyer of any price changes. The final purchase price of a pre-ordered product is determined after it has been delivered to Alza's warehouse.
    • 7.2. The payment methods specified in Chapter IX also apply to pre-orders, meaning that the Buyer does not need to pay the purchase price in advance when placing a pre-order.
    • 7.3. The Buyer may cancel a pre-order at any time without justification. In such cases, Alza refunds all amounts prepaid by the Buyer in connection with the pre-order. If the Buyer has already paid the pre-order price and the product price changes, Alza refunds the difference if the price is lower. If the price increases, the Buyer must pay the difference to Alza before the product is delivered, provided the Buyer decides to proceed with the pre-order despite the price change.
    • 7.4. For pre-orderable products, Alza may have a limited stock, meaning that Alza may not be able to fulfill the pre-order immediately. Therefore, Alza reserves the right to change the delivery deadline for pre-ordered products. If the delivery deadline for a pre-ordered product changes significantly (exceeding 14 days), the Buyer is entitled to cancel the pre-order. If circumstances related to the product change significantly compared to those at the time of the pre-order, and it is unreasonable to expect Alza to fulfill the pre-order under such changed circumstances, Alza reserves the right to cancel the pre-order without justification and will notify the Buyer accordingly.
    • 7.5. The Buyer acknowledges that the availability of pre-ordered products is limited, and Alza distributes its stock among consumers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, and other EU countries where Alza operates, based on the order of pre-orders.
  8. The Buyer acknowledges that Alza's products are primarily designed for use in the Czech Republic. Therefore, electronic devices are equipped with an Europlug connector. This deviation does not constitute a defect.
  9. As a retailer, Alza primarily sells products to individual consumers and organizes its offers, promotions, and campaigns accordingly. Alza expressly reserves the right to reject a contract in order to serve as many individual consumers as possible. Thus, Alza may refuse to process orders from Buyers who are not considered consumers if the quantity ordered exceeds the amount typically required for everyday use by an individual consumer. In such cases, Alza notifies the Buyer via email of the contract refusal and refunds any purchase price or deposit already paid. Additionally, Alza reserves the right to require advance payment of the purchase price before delivering goods to the Buyer, in accordance with the relevant provisions of these GTC.

III. Agreement

1. Performance

By accepting the offer displayed in the online store operated by Alza and adding the desired product (goods, services, digital content) to the "cart" or using the "Buy Now" service (available only to registered users), the Buyer enters into a contract with Alza. The contract is considered a written contract, and its language is Hungarian. Unless otherwise specified in promotions organized by Alza, the Buyer may also enter into a contract with Alza via telephone or email with the assistance of Alza's customer service representative.

The Buyer can modify the products placed in the cart as well as the selected delivery and payment methods (e.g., by checking the order status before submitting it). The sales contract is concluded when the Buyer, after selecting the delivery and payment methods, submits the order and Alza accepts it. Alza assumes no liability for any potential errors or mistakes occurring during electronic data transmission (should any arise). Alza informs the Buyer about the contract's conclusion via a confirmation email sent to the email address provided by the Buyer.

In the confirmation email, Alza attaches the current Terms and Conditions and the Complaint Code. Unless otherwise specified in the Terms and Conditions, the concluded contract (including the agreed purchase price) may only be modified or terminated by mutual agreement of the Parties or as required by law.

Alza registers the concluded contract and archives it for at least five years—or as required by applicable laws. Archived contracts are not accessible to third parties uninvolved in the transaction, except where data disclosure is legally required to courts, authorities, or other third parties. Detailed information about the technical steps of contract formation and the contract conclusion process is outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

2. Delivery of Goods

Under the sales contract, Alza undertakes to deliver the product or provide the digital content/license to the Buyer, ensuring that the Buyer acquires ownership rights to the product or usage rights to the digital content. The Buyer, in turn, undertakes to accept the product/digital content from Alza and pay its purchase price.

Alza retains ownership of the goods until the full purchase price is paid. The Buyer only acquires ownership of the product upon complete payment. The same applies to purchased licenses and services with the necessary modifications.

Alza delivers the products with the appropriate accompanying documentation and ensures that the Buyer acquires ownership rights to the product or usage rights to the license in accordance with the contract.

Alza informs the Buyer about the product’s delivery through its contracted partners in a timely manner. Alza fulfills its contractual obligations when it delivers the product to the Buyer and enables the Buyer to inspect and examine it at the place of delivery.

For business customers, Alza's performance is deemed complete when the goods to be delivered are handed over to the shipping company, and the rights arising from the shipping contract are assigned to the business customer.

Alza delivers the purchased product in the agreed quantity, quality, and design.

If more items are delivered than specified in the contract, the contract is deemed concluded for the actual number of delivered items unless the Buyer rejects the excess items without undue delay.

Unless otherwise agreed, Alza packages the product according to its internal regulations; if no specific agreement is made, the product is packaged in a manner ensuring adequate protection and security. The same applies to the delivery of shipped products.

3. Warranty

The terms and conditions of the warranty and guarantee are governed by Alza’s Complaint Code and applicable legal regulations. In general, the purchase receipt (invoice) replaces the warranty card (Complaint Code).

A product is defective if, at the time of delivery, it does not meet the quality requirements set out in the contract or by law. A product is also considered defective if a different product has been delivered to the Buyer.

The Buyer may assert a claim for defective performance once the risk of damage passes to them. At this point, the Buyer must notify Alza of the defect. The Buyer may also assert a claim later if the defect is discovered subsequently and is attributable to Alza.

After the risk of damage has transferred, the Buyer is obliged to inspect the product, its characteristics, and quality without delay.

The risk of damage transfers to the Buyer when they take possession of the product. The same applies if the product is handed over to another person or a designated pickup location with the Buyer’s authorization, even if the Buyer later refuses to accept the product.

If damage occurs after the risk has transferred to the Buyer, the Buyer must pay the full purchase price of the product unless the damage is due to Alza’s breach of contract.

If the Buyer delays in accepting the product, Alza—after prior notice and expiration of an additional collection period—has the right to sell the product to a third party at the Buyer’s expense. These provisions also apply in cases of payment delay if the product has not yet been received and paid for.

4. Alza’s Warranty Commitments

Alza guarantees the Buyer that the product is free from damage upon receipt. Alza further guarantees that, at the time of the Buyer’s receipt:

  1. The product has all the features agreed upon by the Parties or, in the absence of an agreement, conforms to Alza’s or the manufacturer’s description.
  2. The product has been delivered in the correct quantity, size, and weight.
  3. The product complies with legal requirements.

Unless otherwise agreed, if the Buyer is classified as a Business, the warranty claim period is 12 months from receipt of the product. Warranty claims do not apply to:
 a. Normal wear and tear from use;
 b. Defects arising from normal use that the Buyer was informed about at the time of sale and which were already apparent upon receipt; or
 c. Specific cases related to the nature of the product’s use.

Additional warranty and guarantee periods are detailed in the Complaint Code. Different warranty periods may apply to Businesses, and these may be specified on the product itself or on the www.alza.hu website.

Warranty claims for defective performance cannot be asserted if Alza notified the Buyer of the defect before the product was received, the Buyer was aware of the defect, or if the defect was caused by the Buyer.

For discounted (price-reduced) or used products with defects, the Buyer is entitled to a reasonable discount instead of a product exchange.

If the Buyer requests warranty repairs but does not collect the repaired product within the given deadline, Alza has the right to charge a storage fee of HUF 200 per day. If the Buyer does not collect the repaired product within six months of receiving the repair notice, Alza may sell the product to cover storage costs.

If a product is defective, the Buyer is entitled to:

  1. Replacement of the defective product with a non-defective one, or if a replacement is not reasonable given the nature of the defect, delivery of the missing part within a reasonable time. If only a part of the product is defective, the Buyer may request replacement of that part. If this is not possible, the Buyer may withdraw from the contract. However, withdrawal is not allowed if the defect is minor and can be remedied promptly, in which case the Buyer is entitled to free repair.
  2. Repair of the defect at Alza’s expense.
  3. A reasonable price reduction from the purchase price.
  4. Withdrawal from the contract.

When filing a complaint, the Buyer must inform Alza of their preferred remedy. They may only switch to another warranty claim at their own expense or with Alza’s approval, except if the Buyer initially requested repair, but the defect is irreparable, or if Alza provided grounds for the change, or if switching remedies is otherwise justified.

If Alza does not repair the defect within a reasonable time or informs the Buyer that it will not be repaired, the Buyer may request a reasonable price reduction or withdraw from the contract.

If the Buyer fails to specify which warranty right they wish to exercise, the provisions on minor contract breaches (see Section 6) shall apply.

If Alza is unable to deliver a defect-free product, replace a defective part, or repair the product, the Buyer is entitled to a reasonable price reduction, even if Alza does not remedy the situation within a reasonable time or if doing so would cause significant inconvenience to the Buyer.

The Buyer may not withdraw from the contract due to minor defects.

5. General Rules for Breach of Contract
 If a defect in the product can be repaired, but due to its recurrence or the large number of defects, the product remains unusable, the Buyer may request that the defect be rectified by replacing the product or may choose to withdraw from the contract.
 If a new product is delivered, the Buyer is obliged to return the original defective product (along with all its accessories) to Alza at Alza’s expense.
 The Buyer must notify Alza of the defect immediately after discovering it. If the Buyer unreasonably delays reporting the defect (i.e., reports the defect more than 2 months after it could have been identified with due diligence), the Buyer is responsible for any damages resulting from the delay. The same applies to hidden defects that were not immediately reported after being discovered by the Buyer and properly inspected. Any warranty claims must be submitted no later than two years after the product was delivered.
 The warranty period starts on the day the product is handed over to the Buyer. If the product is delivered to the Buyer according to the contract, the warranty period begins on the day the product is delivered to the designated location. If the purchased product is installed by a third party rather than Alza, the warranty period starts on the day of installation, provided that the product is installed within 3 weeks of receipt and the Buyer cooperates with the installation process.
 The Buyer is not entitled to make a warranty claim if the defect was caused by an external factor after the risk of damage has transferred to the Buyer.

6. Digital Content
 Regarding the use of digital content purchased from Alza (including software, PC games, etc.), the Buyer must comply with the obligations set forth in these General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and the specific copyright and license terms applicable to the product (e.g., End User License Agreement; EULA). If the Buyer fails to fulfill these obligations, they will be liable for all resulting damages and may also face criminal consequences if applicable.
 Entrepreneurs may only use digital content for personal use and other non-commercial or non-business purposes unless the license terms specify otherwise. The Buyer is not entitled to copy, reproduce, create additional copies or extracts, or modify the purchased digital content in violation of copyright law, other regulations, or the license terms. Access to digital content may be denied, or the license may be deactivated if the digital content has been obtained illegally.
 The provisions of these GTC also apply to digital content provided as a gift by Alza to the Buyer.

7. Resale
 If the Buyer resells a product purchased from Alza, they are required to notify Alza. If the Buyer fails to fulfill this notification obligation, Alza will continue to consider the Buyer as the owner of the product and the rightful claimant for any defective performance claims.

8. Warranty

8.1. Manufacturer’s Warranty
 If a manufacturer’s warranty applies to certain products, it does not override the statutory warranty obligations. Please refer to the product packaging for details regarding the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.

8.2. Statutory Warranty
 The provisions of Government Decree 151/2003 (IX.22.) on mandatory warranties for certain durable consumer goods (hereinafter: the Decree) do not apply to Buyers classified as Entrepreneurs. Any deviations from this may be specified in the Complaint Code.

IV. Withdrawal

Alza advises its Customers to back up any personal data stored on an electronic device before withdrawing from a contract related to such a device and then delete the data from the device.

In the case of purchases made as a business entity (i.e., with a tax number), unlike consumers, the buyer is not entitled to return the goods within 14 days in the case of a remote purchase. The law only grants this advantage to consumers.

However, we allow our Business Customers to withdraw from the contract under the same conditions as consumers.

Thus, if you purchased as a business entity, you may withdraw from the purchase within 30 days according to the aforementioned rules. Detailed information is provided in the General Terms and Conditions for Consumers.

If the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal for a product that was purchased under conditions granting a discount on another product, and after the withdrawal, the buyer is no longer entitled to the discount, they must return the product along with the discounted product and any accessories in full to Alza. If this is not done, Alza has the right to refuse the withdrawal and the refund or take the discount amount into account when refunding a portion of the purchase price within the framework of mutual claims settlement.

In the case of abuse of the right of withdrawal by the business entity—especially but not limited to cases where the number of withdrawals exceeds 10% of orders—Alza reserves the right to limit or completely refuse the right of withdrawal for the business entity.

V. Protection and Security of Personal Data

 Alza's privacy policy, which details the protection of personal data, can be found here. These provisions are binding for all Customers.

VI. Working Hours

 Alza accepts orders placed through the online store 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

Alza assumes no responsibility for periods during which the Alza online store is unavailable due to information system failures or force majeure events.

VII. Prices

The displayed prices are part of the contractual offer and are not recommended prices. The prices listed in the online store are always current and valid, except in cases regulated in this Chapter where incorrect prices appear in the online store.

The prices displayed for each product are final prices (including VAT and other applicable taxes and duties) that the Customer must pay for the given product (excluding shipping fees, collection fees, and potential long-distance communication fees, which are displayed in the "Cart" according to the Customer’s selection).

Discounted prices are valid while stocks last (the number of products available at the special discount price is indicated) or for a limited time.

Alza provides a convenience feature that allows Customers to see product prices excluding VAT in the online store they are visiting, aiding informed decision-making. When this feature is enabled, unit prices are also displayed without VAT. This feature can be disabled at any time, after which Customers will see prices including VAT again.

Despite using this convenience feature, Customers must determine and decide for themselves, in accordance with the provisions of Act CXXVII of 2007 on Value Added Tax, whether they are obliged to pay VAT and, if so, when and in what manner. The use of this feature does not exempt the Customer from VAT payment obligations and does not constitute tax advice from Alza. Even when using this feature, the Customer will see the VAT-inclusive price in the Cart and will receive appropriate information about the VAT content before purchase.

This convenience feature displaying VAT-excluded prices is not available to individual consumers.

Alza indicates the "original price" of a product or service (or software license) as the lowest price applied in the Alza.hu online store during the 30-day period preceding the price reduction, typically shown as a crossed-out price alongside the current product price. If the convenience feature described in the previous paragraph is enabled, both the original price and the discounted price are displayed without VAT.

Alza communicates a discounted price compared to the original price calculated this way for a maximum of 90 days after the price reduction begins, provided the price remains unchanged. The method of calculating the original price is displayed separately in a bubble on the Alza.hu online store interface.

a. Discounts granted through unique promotional codes and coupons— which are not automatically available to all Customers—are not considered in the original price calculation.

b. Unique discounts and any other price advantages granted by Alza based on individual circumstances are also not considered in the original price calculation.

c. If the extent of a price reduction on a product or service (or software license) gradually increases within 90 days after the first reduction, the original price remains the price applied before the first price reduction (i.e., the lowest price in the 30 days before the first reduction).

If a product or service ordered by the Customer appears on the website at an incorrect price due to an internal system error, Alza is not obliged to sell it at the incorrect price but will immediately offer to sell the product or service at the correct price upon discovering the error. The Customer can then decide whether to proceed with the purchase. If the Customer declines within 3 days of being informed of the incorrect and correct price, Alza will refund the incorrect purchase price paid by the Customer. If the Customer still wishes to purchase the product or service at the correct price, they must pay the price difference to Alza. If the Customer does not respond within 3 days after being informed, Alza is entitled to withdraw from the contract and refund the incorrect purchase price paid.

Examples of incorrect price listings:

  1. The product or service price significantly deviates from the usual market price (discounts exceeding 60%) and is clearly recognizable by a reasonable Customer (case of apparent disproportion);
  2. The product or service price has one or more extra or missing digits;
  3. The product or service price is listed in a different currency (euro or Czech koruna) or, in the case of Hungarian forint, the conversion was not properly applied.

Alza's system may mistakenly mark products with clearly incorrect prices as "discounted" or "on clearance." If a Customer has doubts about a product price and notifies Alza, Customer Service will promptly provide the correct price information.

Enabling the VAT-excluded price display feature does not constitute an incorrect price listing.

Alza reserves the right to invalidate sales contracts where personal or credit card information has been misused, or where a court or authority has ruled accordingly, and Alza informs the Customer.

Alza may also invalidate a sales contract if the Customer violates the terms of use for discount or other coupons, particularly in cases such as:

  1. Using a discount coupon for a product other than the one intended;
  2. Combining a discount coupon with another discount, despite explicit restrictions;
  3. Not meeting the minimum purchase amount required for using the discount coupon;
  4. Using a discount coupon that has already been redeemed.

In these cases, no valid sales contract is established, and Alza considers the acquisition to be unjustified.

The Customer acknowledges that due to the withdrawal of 1 and 2 forint coins from circulation, product prices must be rounded in accordance with Act III of 2008.

Customers who provide their company registration number in their user account—such as legal entities and sole proprietors (including public sector clients)—are automatically enrolled in the Alza for Business program. Members gain access to business-specific discounts and exclusive offers. Alza allows business customers to enjoy the same benefits as regular consumers, including the option to return purchased products within 30 days.

Discount Pricing

As part of the Alza for Business program, Alza offers special discount pricing levels based on an entrepreneur's 12-month turnover (i.e., the total value of VAT-exempt purchases in the www.alza.hu online store, calculated from the current date). The pricing levels are as follows:

  1. BASIC: Available to all members of the Alza for Business program.
  2. BRONZE: For entrepreneurs with a turnover exceeding 840,000 HUF.
  3. SILVER: For entrepreneurs with a turnover exceeding 4,000,000 HUF.
  4. GOLD: For entrepreneurs with a turnover exceeding 16,400,000 HUF.

Alza reserves the right to revoke the discount pricing, modify prices within each level, or change the list of products available at a discounted price. Prices within the levels may change regularly, and entrepreneurs are not entitled to compensation for price differences.

Additionally, Alza reserves the right to grant discount pricing to entrepreneurs who do not meet the turnover requirement. Entrepreneurs will be notified via email about the activation of discount pricing. Therefore, Alza recommends that program members enable marketing communications.

Trial Purchases

Members of the Alza for Business program operating in the public sector (e.g., schools and government institutions) may take advantage of trial purchases. Upon prior agreement, these members receive a 14-day trial period for testing or approving products, starting from the order date.

If the member decides to reject the product during the trial period, it must be returned before the trial period ends. Otherwise, they are obliged to pay the purchase price. If the product is damaged during the trial period, the member is required to compensate Alza for the damage incurred.

Invoice Payment Terms

Entrepreneurs who have achieved a monthly turnover of at least 840,000 HUF over the past three calendar months may request deferred payment terms. This option can be requested via email at [email protected], with further details available here.

Alza reserves the right to reject or revoke the deferred payment option at any time. If an invoice (purchase price) is not paid on time, Alza is entitled to transfer or assign the debt to a third party for collection purposes.

VIII. Orders

The price is indicated in the order and in the text message confirming the order. Orders can be placed in the following ways:
  1. Through the online store operated by Alza (e-shop); or
  2. Via email, sent to [email protected] (available only for entrepreneurs).
  3. Through Alza's telephone customer service, available daily from 08:00 to 20:00 (UTC+01:00).
  4. In person at Alza showrooms (Budapest XIII - Róbert Károly krt. 54-58; or József krt. 14, 1085 Budapest; or Bevásárló utca 1, 2310 Szigetszentmiklós).

Alza recommends that customers log in to their registered user account when placing an order in the online store. When using public access, Alza advises customers to log out of their Alza account after placing an order.

The email sent to the customer includes information on the estimated delivery time. The delivery time and cost depend on the options selected by the customer, which are available in the second step of the ordering process. The estimated delivery time is based on Alza's assessment and may change due to unforeseen circumstances, which customers explicitly acknowledge.

Customers may cancel their order if Alza informs them that the expected delivery date has been delayed. In such cases, the customer is entitled to a full refund.

IX. Payment Methods

Alza determines the payment terms at its sole discretion and may offer the following Payment Methods during purchase (while ensuring the possibility of electronic payment as required by applicable regulations) and provides detailed information about any related costs:

  1. Bank transfer;
  2. Online card payment (using MasterCard, Maestro, or Visa bank cards). The relevant bank automatically remembers the card details provided by the customer for future payments (this option can be removed in the customer's Alza account under "Personal Data");
  3. PayPal payment method;
  4. On-site card payment (when paying with a bank card at the showroom, customers must handle their card details and PIN discreetly);
  5. Cryptocurrency payment (customers may, in certain cases, choose to pay with a cryptocurrency accepted by Alza, such as Bitcoin. If the customer later requests a refund for purchased products, the refund amount will be issued in HUF as indicated on the invoice);
  6. Cash payment (available at Alza showrooms and for cash-on-delivery orders).

Until the full order amount has been paid and credited to Alza, the product remains the property of Alza.

After placing an order, customers cannot modify billing details.

If the customer cancels the contract with Alza or is entitled to a refund for any other reason, Alza will refund the purchase amount using the same payment method as the original purchase. Customers must provide correct and accurate details for the refund process. Alza is not responsible for any damages resulting from incorrect information.

Alza issues an invoice for the amounts paid and records the incoming payments in its accounting records.

X. Delivery

  1. General Rules Alza delivers products in cooperation with an independent shipping company or electronically (for digital content). Alza does not guarantee that all theoretically available delivery methods will be accessible to Buyers. The availability of certain delivery methods depends on the distance to the delivery address and Alza's shipping capacity at the given moment. Alza is not liable for delayed delivery in cases of force majeure or disruptions in its information system. Information regarding available delivery options, current conditions, and prices is always kept up to date on the www.alza.hu website. Product deliveries are limited on public holidays both in the country of delivery and in the Czech Republic.
  2. Additional Provisions If the Buyer is a VAT-paying legal entity/business or sole proprietor at the time of purchase, the product will only be delivered to an authorized representative of the legal entity or business, or to a person authorized by a lawyer/notary public with a certified power of attorney sent to Alza. For sole proprietors, delivery will be made upon presentation of an identification document (ID card or passport).

If the Buyer collects the ordered and prepaid product at an Alza Showroom, the collection requires the presentation of a PIN code sent to the phone number provided by the Buyer. The Buyer must ensure that the PIN code is not accessed or used by any third party.

When receiving the products from the shipping company, the Buyer must thoroughly inspect the delivery together with the shipping company’s representative (specifically checking the number of packages, the integrity of the branded packaging tape, and the condition of the packaging) and verify the accompanying shipping document. The Buyer has the right to refuse acceptance of the package if it is incomplete or damaged. If the Buyer accepts a faulty delivery, they must record a description of the damage in the shipping company's delivery record.

Incomplete or damaged deliveries must be reported immediately via email to [email protected], including a damage report signed by the shipping company's representative. This report must be sent to Alza without delay via fax, email, or post using the official contact details provided. If the Buyer fails to report the issue immediately, Alza reserves the right to exclude liability if the damage did not occur during shipping. Complaints regarding incomplete deliveries or damaged packaging do not affect the Buyer’s warranty rights.

XI. Electronic Waste Management

Electrical and electronic devices that are no longer in use or have become waste contain hazardous substances that can negatively impact the environment and human health if not disposed of properly.

Buyers can dispose of their unused electrical and electronic devices at the selective waste collection points provided at Alza's showroom (Budapest XIII - Róbert Károly krt. 54-58).

Buyers are entitled to request the collection of large electrical or electronic household appliances as waste if the requested waste collection item serves the same function as the new product purchased from Alza. In such cases, Alza arranges for collection through an independent shipping company.

XII. Complaint Handling and Legal Remedies

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Complaint Handling at Alza: If the Buyer believes their rights have been violated in relation to Alza's procedures, they may contact Alza’s customer service via email at [email protected] or by phone at +36-1-701-1111.

Right to Take Legal Action: The Buyer is entitled to enforce claims arising from disputes before a court in accordance with the provisions of the Hungarian Civil Code and Act CXXX of 2016 on the Code of Civil Procedure.

Alza recommends that Buyers first attempt to resolve the issue by contacting Alza directly.

These Terms and Conditions are effective from April 1, 2025, and supersede all previous versions from this date.
