What is spyware?

Spyware is used to detect malicious software (malware) that hackers use to spy on users. They gain access to your personal data, banking data, and your online history. How can you get rid of spyware and how can you protect yourself against it?

What is a VPN?

VPN is an abbreviation for virtual private network. It is an IT tool that creates secure and encrypted connections on less secure networks, usually on the Internet. The connection is secured because all transmitted data must pass through the so-called VPN tunnels, and all VPN users must use different authentication methods (username, password, digital certificates) to access these tunnels. A VPN allows you to hide your IP address, avoid censorship or tracking, encrypt your communications and avoid geoblocking. You can live in Prague, but with a personal VPN, it'll look like you are in New York, Paris, or wherever the provider's VPN server is located.
