The HECHT 6040 Cordless Hedge Trimmer is a great tool for hedge and ornamental tree maintenance. Thanks to the battery power supply, the operator is not constrained by cables as with electric machines, and it is relatively quiet and emission-free compared to using an internal combustion engine. The product is part of the ACCU 5040 program, with which you can operate several different machines with one type of battery and thus save significantly. All products marked with the ACCU program 5040 icon are fully compatible with the 005040B and 005024B battery. A major advantage is not only the reduction in purchase costs, where you can use a single battery to power more than a dozen different products, but also the fact that you can fully use the battery for its entire lifetime. You don't waste money on different devices with different batteries that sit idle for most of their life.

There are many advantages to battery-powered machines. The electric motor is silent and produces no odorous or toxic fumes. Compared to an internal combustion engine, you don't have to start it, do regular maintenance, change oil, air filters. An electric motor is more reliable than a rather complicated internal combustion engine. However, the main disadvantage of a conventional electric machine is the need for a power cord. Advantages of the ACCU 5040 HECHT programme
Modern lithium batteries are lightweight, store a large amount of energy and, with proper care, have a relatively long service life. The disadvantage is their higher price. The ACCU program eliminates this disadvantage by allowing a number of different products to be powered by a single battery. You get a lawnmower, for example, a chainsaw, hedge trimmer, lawn trimmer, a snow blower, Cultivator, Lawn aerator, leaf vacuum cleaner and other machines, for which you would normally need several and quite expensive different batteries. As part of the ACCU program, you only need to purchase a single 40V battery and charger. These will then be used to power all products within the programme. If one battery isn't enough for the job, simply get a second one and then you can always work with one and charge the other in between.
