What is CHIRP? Traditional sonar only transmits one frequency pulse at a time. The CHIRP (Compressed High Intensity Radiated Pulse) sonar emits a continuous stream of frequencies from low to high. This makes the sonar data much clearer and higher resolution compared to traditional sonars. Incredible target resolution. Thanks to the 1 cm fish size resolution, you will be able to easily identify the target species, even if it is part of a large school of fish, or track even the tiniest baits when vertical trolling. Precision at extreme depths. Thanks to CHIRP technology, surface noise is minimal, so you can rely on accurate sonar readings even in very shallow water and find fish as low as 15 cm below the surface. Conversely, you can distinguish fish in water up to 100 m deep. 3 beam frequencies for versatile use. By scanning the area with a 47° (100 kHz) wide-angle beam, you will discover where the fish congregate. Use the beam with a central angle of 16° (290 kHz) to examine the site in more detail.
