Beast of Reincarnation - Xbox Series X
Dynamic start
In the devastated Japan of 4026, Emma, cursed as the "Blighted One", and her faithful canine companion Koo embark on a dangerous quest. Together they discover what it means to be human in the cruel, mutation-ridden world of Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X.
Link the characters in battle
Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X is built on a technically challenging combat system reminiscent of titles like Sekiro and Nier: Automata. You will learn to combine Emma's power attacks with Koo's assisting.
The nameless hero
The developer is the well-known studio Game Freak (creators of Pokémon), releasing Fictions for the first time outside the series. Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X will release in 2026 for Windows, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, available on Game Pass on release day.
STORY
Post-apocalyptic atmosphere
The story of Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X is set in a Japan that has been engulfed by darkness and mutation after a catastrophe. Emma is an outcast labeled as the "Blighted One" and harbors mysterious plant powers. Koo, a stray dog, joins her and together they wander through a world where unknown forests and mutant beasts are the order of the day. Their bond grows and reveals rare abilities that could save humanity.
BOJ
Technically challenging combat system
Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X offers challenging and technical battles inspired by "souls-like" genres. You have to time your lunges, blocks, dodges and use a combination of Emma's plant attacks with Koo's attack or support. Every encounter with the enemy requires focus, precision and strategy. Result? Fights that are rewarding and never stereotypical.
RPG
Action RPG with a deep story
Game Freak, long known for the Pokémon franchise, is taking a whole new route, seeing Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X as their first AAA title outside of the franchise. The script is directed by Kota Furushima, who helped with the combat and sound in the Pokémon series. This unique mix of action RPG, deep story and technical gameplay is Game Freak's ambitious debut outside of the Pokémon world. If you're drawn to challenging combat, sensitive stories with human depth and atmospheric worlds, Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X won't disappoint.
ATMOSPHERE
Beast of Reincarnation Xbox Series X offers:
- The emotional bond of the main characters: The development of their relationship brings not only drama but also gameplay benefits through the activation of special powers.
- Depth and challenge: If you don't mind challenging fights, you'll appreciate the precise system requiring reflexes and tactics.
- The beauty and atmosphere of the world: Dark, dynamic environments inspired by Studio Ghibli (e.g. Princess Mononoke) offers an impressive visual experience.
