Hardware-wise, the Nintendo Switch Lite is identical to the classic Switch. It will offer the NVIDIA Tegra X1 chip complemented by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of flash memory. Of course, the Switch Lite has a microSD card slot and a slot for gaming cartridges. What's different, however, is the touchscreen display, which has a 5.5-inch diagonal with the same 1,280×720 pixel resolution.
The battery lasts up to seven hours, but the time varies on the actual load on the console. With demanding games, the Nintendo Switch Lite's battery life drops to around three hours.
The system has 32GB of internal memory, some of which is reserved for the console's software itself. Users can easily expand the Switch Lite's storage by using microSDHC or microSDXC memory cards.
