Cutting-edge technology and quiet operation
The cooling system relies on an optimised layout of seven heatpipes and an enlarged fin surface area, which are soldered to the pipes for long-term heat transfer stability. Active airflow is provided by a pair of NF-A12x25 PWM fans in a push/pull configuration. These 120mm fans use self-stabilising oil-pressure bearings (SSO2) and achieve an airflow of up to 102m³/h. The entire system excels with quiet operation, with a maximum noise level of just 22.6dB at full speed of 2000rpm. Thanks to PWM control, the speed can be automatically reduced to as low as 450rpm, enabling near-silent operation when idle.
Compatibility and SecuFirm2 mounting system
The asymmetrical heatsink design guarantees compatibility with RAM on modern motherboards, as the cooler does not encroach on the space above the RAM slots. This allows for the use of modules with tall heatspreaders and ensures easy access to them. Installation is handled by the SecuFirm2 mounting system, which provides optimal contact pressure and broad socket support, including Intel LGA1700, LGA1851, or LGA1200 and AMD AM4 or AM5. For the AMD AM5 platform, offset mounting bars are also included, allowing you to position the cooler directly over the CPU's hotspot for more efficient heat dissipation. High-quality NT-H1 thermal compound is also included in the package.
