ASUS prepared a new "premium" motherboard P7P55D-E Premium which is designed for processors in socket LGA 1156 and uses a chipset Intel P55 Express. In the menu are two PCI Express 2.0 x16 (physically can divide x16), two PCI Express 2.0 x1 and two PCI also. Supported NVIDIA SLI and ATI CrossFireX.
Novelty are the two gray 6 Gbps SATA ports controlled by Marvell chip and USB 3.0. In addition they are also led out normal rear USB 2.0, the interface S/PDIF, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, Firewire, two Gigabit Ethernet ports and six audiko. Further, the board has a gigabit network card and a 10 - channel sound card.
A very useful feature is ASUS Precision Tweaker 2, which can change the CPU voltage 0.00625 in steps and in addition, of course, stress-DRAM, chipset, etc.. Frequency can be set for 1MHz increments, and as a protection when overclocking is the Asus CPR(CPU Parameter Recall).
