Cool, measured speeds depend on the disk, but 650MB/800MB - I'm a sucker. so as an external frame cool. Satisfied. but I gave it the RPi One plus a 1TB drive,, a cool half year. I buy one more, and there's a problem. JMicron Technology Corp chipset does not go very well with USB3 drivers on RPI

It didn' t fit my M2 drive much, but it' s definitely model by model. (During installation, I had to remove some of the thermally conductive material that came out of the joints and bothered the threads. ) The real transfer rate was slightly lower than 10 Gb / s, but this can be expected and did not fall below 5.

I use this box as an external additional storage with a Samsung 980 250GB SSD to the Mac mini M1, it is permanently connected, average read / write speeds range from 750-780 MB / s, which are perfect values for an external drive and fully sufficient e. g. for video editing, backup, data transfer, etc.

After installing the disc (Samsung EVO 970 1TB) and gluing the enclosed material, which has the task of transferring heat from the disc to the box structure, I found that the disc with this material does not fit in the box - the material collapses when inserted into the frame, because the whole is too high . So all I had to do was tear the mass into smaller pieces and use only a part of it in those places where it didn' t matter, so that the disc could be pushed into the box with great difficulty. Unfortunately, it probably became inevitable and the 3.5k drive died in this box after a few hours of completely DIFFICULT operation! So don' t take for me: (
