The problem with seating the cooler on AMD processors, you can't simply click into the pins on the motherboard. I've tried everything possible, even watching installation videos to see if I'm doing something wrong. In the end, I had to use a lot of force to snap it in until I was worried about damaging the motherboard.

Installing on AM4 requires "retention brackets", which come with the board, but have been sitting in my case for two years. Someone might have already lost them.
Installation requires quite a bit of force. I'm not used to assembling PCs and pushing the components hard.

I was looking for a temporary replacement for the AIO, so I looked for the cheapest one “standing“ in the closet and found the Spartan, which lives up to its name and I have to admit, it works really well. 100% satisfaction for the money. It cools my Intel 10700K completely comfortably at 100% load and 60°C measured on the CPU. Price/performance ratio 100%
