In We Happy Few you'll experience your own unique dystopia. No two playthroughs are ever the same.
The islands of Wellington Wells were destroyed by war and later rebuilt based on disillusionment and utopia.
Everything seems happy at first, the roads, the people, even the TV celebrities. However, this whole big and idyllic world is on the brink of disaster.
We Happy Few is the story of a few brave yet rather terrible people trying to escape a utopian life of gleeful reality denial in Wellington Wells.
You can see the whole world from three different perspectives, as you take turns playing three different playable characters as they search for their connection to the events behind the rebuilding of Wellington Wells.
Each storyline is unique, reacting to events and happenings in the world differently each time, and all three will lead to interesting resolutions.
There are several ways to play, fight or hide. The last way is to give up, because the locals don't care about anything other than whether you've taken your daily dose of happy pills.
The whole plot takes place in an alternative 1960s England. The open world will tempt you to play in several different ways and you can choose whether you will sneak amongst the other drug-addled inhabitants or fight your way through by force. After all, the society there doesn't like people who don't follow their not-so-normal rules.
