Zyxel XGS2210-28
A network switch is a functional network unit that connects individual devices or other network elements. It is suitable for coordinating network traffic. The Zyxel XGS2210-28 is supposed to be installed in a rack. The Switch is equipped with 24 RJ-45 ports that facilitate connection with network elements. 4 SFP connectors are there to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100Base-T technology facilitates data transfer with a speed of up to 100 Mbit/s. It uses Dual Personality ports, notable for encompassing both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one of them can be active at a time. The switch dimensions are 441 × 270 × 45mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology guarantees the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also lets you set up end station priority. Integrated LAN ports support a bandwidth speed of up to 1 Gbit. The weight of the switch is 3700g. The Zyxel XGS2210-28 also operates on the ISO/OSI model network layer, meaning it can serve as a router. Thanks to this useful function, you don't have to purchase any extra network element.
