The MSI MAG 271KPD7 monitor features Dual-Mode Ultra technology, which allows you to instantly change the display parameters. Users can choose between a fine 5K resolution with a 75Hz refresh rate and a fast WQHD mode with a 300Hz refresh rate. This option provides a seamless transition between detailed work and fast-paced gaming without the need for complicated adjustments in Windows, as the technology automatically detects the optimal mode.
Integrated KVM Switch and USB-C Power
The built-in KVM switch simplifies controlling two different computers with a single set of a keyboard and mouse, making it easier to work on multiple devices at once. Connected devices also benefit from the presence of a universal USB-C port, which is used for both data and video transfer. This port supports video transfer via DisplayPort and simultaneously provides 15W Power Delivery for compatible laptops or phones.
Efficient Screen Splitting
To facilitate multitasking, the monitor supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture functions. These features divide the display area to simultaneously view signals from two different sources without needing to connect another display. This allows users to view the picture from a games console while also having their work laptop displayed on a single screen, saving valuable space on their desk.
Rapid IPS Panel with 5K Resolution

The monitor displays up to 1.07 billion colours thanks to its 10-bit colour depth (8-bit + FRC). The colour space coverage is 92.6% Adobe RGB, 95% DCI-P3 and 122.9% sRGB according to the CIE1976 standard. This calibration meets the demanding requirements of video editing. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification with a brightness of up to 500cd/m² in HDR mode and 350cd/m² in SDR mode brings deep contrast, true shadows and very bright scene rendering.
Full Adjustability
The adjustable stand offers a wide range of screen positioning options for healthier sitting at your desk. Users can change the height in the range of 0 to 130mm, tilt the panel from -5° to 20° and swivel the panel sideways by 30°. There is also a pivot function to rotate the screen 90° vertically, making it easier to work with long text documents or source code.
