IPS panel picture quality
The LED backlighting and advanced IPS technology of the iiyama 27" ProLite XB2 monitor provide a clear picture. The display has a standard brightness of 350 cd/m² and a native contrast ratio of 1500:1. The matte surface effectively reduces light reflections in the room. This gives users faithful colour reproduction from all angles without any hue distortion. The wide viewing angles make the monitor a suitable tool for teamwork on a single project.
Smoothness with a 120Hz frequency
Smooth on-screen motion is determined by the 120Hz refresh rate. Together with the very low 1ms MPRT response time, motion blur in fast-paced scenes is minimised. The iiyama 27" ProLite XB2 monitor supports Adaptive Sync for smooth, tear-free rendering. Every transition between frames is smooth and without delay, making it easier to watch videos and work with animations.
Colour range and contrast
The colour reproduction covers 99% of the standard sRGB space and 72% of NTSC. The panel operates with an 8-bit colour depth and displays 16.7 million colour shades. The iiyama 27" ProLite XB2 monitor offers an advanced dynamic contrast ratio of 80M:1. A fine pitch of 0.311mm renders details very cleanly. This gives you sharp contours for both text and graphics.
Adjustable stand for healthy sitting
The stand's design lets you adjust the screen's position according to your height. The height adjustment works within a range of 150mm. You can set the optimal display height above the desk to reduce neck strain. The screen tilt can be adjusted 23° up and 5° down. The sturdy base keeps the monitor stable.
Pivot function and screen rotation
The iiyama 27" ProLite XB2 monitor, with its pivot function, supports full 90° screen rotation to portrait mode. This mode makes it easier to work with long text documents or source codes. The stand also offers a 120° side-to-side rotation for easy content sharing with colleagues. Cables can be organised using the integrated cable management system at the back of the stand. For mounting on a wall or an arm, standard 100 × 100mm VESA mounting is provided.
Eye protection with Flicker-free technology
Long hours in front of the screen tire the eyes, which is why the monitor includes protective features. Flicker-free technology eliminates backlight flicker at all brightness levels. The integrated harmful blue light filter protects your eyes from fatigue and helps prevent insomnia. TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification confirms compliance with strict eye safety standards. This means you can work without uncomfortable eye strain.
Integrated speakers
Two built-in speakers provide sound for your workspace. Each provides 2W of power for standard video calls, listening to presentations or system sounds. The iiyama 27" ProLite XB2 monitor does not require external audio equipment, saving valuable desk space. For privacy, you can use the headphone output directly on the monitor. The Kensington Lock security slot serves as solid protection against theft.
Eco-friendly operation and low consumption
The 27" monitor places an emphasis on energy efficiency. It belongs to class C with a consumption of just 14kWh. In standby mode, consumption drops to a mere 0.5W to save energy. EPEAT Silver and TCO certifications confirm compliance with sustainability standards in both production and operation. The device thus helps reduce operating costs in office environments.
Connectivity options
The connectivity options for the iiyama 27" ProLite XB2 monitor include modern interfaces for image and data transfer. Digital inputs on the back of the panel are used for connecting to signal sources. For easy connection of peripheral devices, use the integrated four-port USB hub. Colour gamut
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours.
Maximum brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², determines the brightness of the monitor. Brightness above 400 nits is crucial for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250.
Refresh rate and response
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
