The Sharp 32HA1205E television is designed for users who prefer simple controls and reliable operation with direct access to broadcasts. The picture is processed by a 32" LED panel with HD Ready resolution (1,366 × 768 px) and Direct LED backlighting. The absence of an operating system contributes to a quick start-up and simple operation. The device receives signals via DVB-T/T2/C/S/S2 tuners with H.265/HEVC codec support and offers three HDMI ports and two USB connectors. Connectivity is complemented by a digital optical output, a composite input and a CI+ slot for paid channels.

Content is displayed on an LED panel with a screen size of 81 cm (32") and an HD Ready resolution of 1,366 × 768 pixels. The Direct LED backlighting type distributes the diodes across the entire surface of the screen, thus influencing the uniformity of the brightness. The panel operates with a native refresh rate of 50/60 Hz for smooth motion rendering when watching films and television broadcasts. Two integrated speakers deliver a total sound output of 16 W. The television supports the decoding of multi-channel audio formats. It processes Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus standards for sound reproduction from broadcasts or connected devices. A digital optical output is provided for connecting an external audio system, such as a soundbar.

The absence of an operating system and smart features contributes to the device's quick start-up and simple menu navigation. All settings and selections are made using the included push-button remote control and the clear on-screen menu. The controls focus on primary functions, such as changing channels, adjusting the picture and sound, or selecting an input, while maintaining full offline functionality. The device receives television signals using a complete set of tuners. It supports DVB-T/T2 terrestrial, DVB-C cable, and DVB-S/S2 satellite broadcasts. The key is the implementation of the H.265/HEVC codec, which is necessary for the modern terrestrial broadcasting standard to function. For access to paid or encrypted channels, a CI+ slot is available for inserting a decoding module.

This television does not include specific gaming features, such as variable refresh rate (VRR) or automatic low latency mode (ALLM). Standard HDMI version 1.4 ports are used for connecting a games console. The absence of advanced gaming technologies makes it primarily intended for regular viewing of television broadcasts and films. Three HDMI version 1.4 ports are used for connecting external signal sources, which can receive signals from games consoles, set-top boxes, or Blu-ray players. There is also a composite input for older analogue devices. A pair of USB ports are used to connect external data storage, such as flash drives or hard drives, and the integrated player can read and display files. It supports common video and audio formats as well as photos.

The television stands on two side feet with a spacing of 690 mm, which maintain its stability. The device itself without the stand has dimensions of 426 × 80 mm (height × depth) and a weight of 3.5 kg. On the back, there are mounting points for wall mounting, which correspond to the VESA standard with a spacing of 100 × 100 mm. This compatibility is for installation on a wall bracket. In terms of operating costs, the device falls into energy class E. According to the measurement methodology, the consumption in standard dynamic range (SDR) is 26 kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. This figure corresponds to regular television viewing. In standby mode, when the television is off but ready to be turned on by the remote control, the power consumption is 0.5 W.
