The OSRAM BATTERYcharge 813 smart charger is designed for maintaining car and motorcycle batteries. It supports both 6V and 12V charging voltages and is compatible with various battery types, including gel, AGM, EFB and Li-ion. Thanks to its microprocessor control, it automatically optimises the charging process for batteries with a capacity of up to 60Ah. The device has seven charging modes and is equipped with overvoltage and short-circuit protection. Its IP65 rating ensures resistance to dust and splashing water.

Smart and safe charging

The charger is controlled by a microprocessor that analyses the battery's condition and selects the optimal procedure. The charger has seven different charging cycles, including a fully automatic mode for everyday use and a maintenance mode that keeps the battery in good condition when the vehicle is stored for a long time. The desulphation function helps restore the performance of older batteries. An integrated temperature sensor adapts the charging to the ambient conditions. Overheating, short-circuit and overvoltage protection ensure safe operation.
