  • TechZone - Personal Customer Service

    At TechZone, customers can return their goods in person or use our self-service terminals. Customer support is provided by a team of 25 experienced claims technicians. We process one quarter of all Alza claims every day.

  • Back Office Customer Service in Prague Horní Počernice

    Even in remote communication we prefer an individual approach, and our ten-member team makes sure that every customer claim is handled properly.

  • Claims Hall in Prague Horní Počernice

    The heart of our claim process, as all customer claims are collected here, both by post and from our branches. Approximately 100 employees make sure that the claimed goods get quickly and safely to the workshops and back to the customer.

  • Major Domestic Appliances in Úžice

    At this hall, a team of 30 specialists handles claims for major domestic appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, etc.) Our main job here is to sort out the returned goods and try to send them back into the sales cycle.

    I have been working for our Warranty Claim Department since 2015. I started my journey in Alza as a Warranty Claim Specialist and have eventually worked my way up to the Team Leader position. In my free time I relax by taking walks with my dog. My personal motto is "You get as much as you put in".

    Monetisation Manager

    I have been working for Alza since 2018. From the position of a Warranty Claims Technician, I gradually worked my way up to a deputy RMA Team Leader, a year later to an RMA Supervisor, and now I work as the Monetisation Manager. I currently lead a team of seventy employees and am in charge of the monetisation part of the Claims Department, where my team and I look for new owners of used and returned goods. I enjoy the variety of work at Alza, with new challenges every day and opportunities to participate in interesting projects.

    Claims Manager

    I work in the Claims Department as a Claims Manager. What I enjoy most about working at Alza is the sheer variety of my work. Every day I encounter a new challenge, which I gladly accept. Together with my team, I strive for maximum customer satisfaction on the one hand and team cohesion on the other. In my spare time I play sports - football and tennis. I'm am a very competitive type who hates losing and wants to win every game. Competitiveness is not a prerequisite for joining my team - but I welcome proactivity, enthusiasm and most importantly a positive mindset 😊.

    Head of Administrative Support

    I have been working for Alza's Claims Department as Head of Administrative Support since January 2021. I find working with people and the opportunity to continuously educate myself the most fulfilling part of my job at Alza. Every day I solve new tasks and challenges with my team, which constantly pushes us further. We are a great bunch with both a sense of humour and a sense of responsibility. I like to spend my free time being active, whether it's with my kids I coach in athletics or outdoors with my family and dog 😊.

    Key Account Manager

    I joined Alza in April 2020 as the Key Account Manager. My main job is to establish and maintain business relationships with Alza's service partners. I am now taking over the administrative support team, which is in daily communication with the service partners and for whose results I will now be responsible. I take this as a great challenge. I already have experience in managing people from previous jobs. I like honesty, fairness and a sense of humour. As long as clear rules of the game are followed, I'm a staunch supporter of having friendly relationships between colleagues 😊. My hobbies include boxing, hiking, traveling and exploring foreign cultures, watching movies, TV shows, and occasionally I like to relax by playing on my PlayStation.

    My main task is to make sure that my departments are able to handle and process claims as quickly as possible, and at the same time to meet the needs of our customers and to make the claims process easier and more pleasant. What I particularly like about Alza is that it offers a lot of freedom to implement one's own ideas, and one is rewarded for every such project 😊. I also have a great team of experienced colleagues who are a joy to work with, plus the opportunity to take advantage of a lot of benefits and educational activities.     I joined the Claims Department in 2020 as an RMA Specialist. I went through several departments and after about half a year I got to the position of Deputy Team Leader, where I am in charge of one of the departments on our hall. At Alza, I especially enjoy the opportunity for self-development and career progression, in all sorts of ways. It's great to come to work and know that every day I have the opportunity to get somewhere and learn something new.

    I've been working at Alza since February 2018 and I'm currently a supervisor at the claims centre in Horní Počernice. What I enjoy most about Alza is that every day is different and we are in constant motion thanks to the dynamic growth of the company. At the same time, you work on yourself every day and expand your knowledge, not only in the Claims Department itself, but also across the company. The biggest benefit for me is the team cohesion and the fact that we can pull together when needed. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my dogs, working on my house and garden, cycling and reading a good book. For my team, I'm looking for positively minded team players who love modern technology and enjoy new challenges.

    I have been working in the Claims Department at Alza since autumn 2020. I try to treat everyone here as I would like to be treated in their position. When I'm not figuring out where and how to push our shipping and handling department or hitting the shelves, I'm studying first aid, reading, and spending time with my animal menagerie.

What Can Your Career With Us Look Like?

1. What is your job position at Alza and what is your job description? I am currently an administrator in the mail-receiving department. My job is to handle complex cases that the department doesn't know what to do with, and I also handle internal communication in the form of CCTickets that come from all over Alza directly to our department.

2. What school did you graduate from and why did you decide to work at Alza? I graduated from the 1st KŠPA school in Litoměřice with the focus on sports management/economics and business. I came to Alza because I saw the potential to achieve something and I wanted to try what it was like to be part of the biggest e-commerce retailer in the Czech Republic.

3. What is your biggest work achievement? I see my current move to the administrator position as my biggest achievement and it's something I have been trying to get for the last few months. Moving up has also convinced me that if my supervisor sees my potential and effort, it's entirely feasible to move higher and higher up the career ladder.

4. What has working at Alza given you? Working here has given me a lot of experience and the vision that if I set my mind to something, I can achieve it with hard work and perseverance. It has given me knowledge not only about customer claims but also about how such a big company works in general.

5. Would you recommend working at Alza to a friend? I would certainly recommend this job as there are plenty of opportunities to advance not only up on the career ladder but also in personal growth. I myself have learned a lot about respect, perseverance and determination here.
