Buttons and controls
The control layout includes six front buttons, which are divided into four main action switches and two additional function buttons. On the top edge of the controller are two shoulder buttons with short travel and a mechanical clicking switch. These switches react instantly to every press without any unwanted delay and provide clear tactile feedback when activated. This gives the user precise control over in-game actions that require quick reactions.
Precise directional pad
The directional pad has been redesigned to make movement in all axes easier. This cross-shaped D-pad has a short travel distance with a quick response to every press. The design helps with precise position sensing in fast-paced action scenes and classic retro titles. The shape of the directional pad prevents accidental slips and makes it easier to perform more complex movement combinations smoothly.
Compatibility
The device works with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems and also supports macOS and Linux. The controller connects directly to The Spectrum retro consoles and THE400, THEC64, VIC20, or THEA500 retro computers without needing to install any additional software or drivers. The 1.8m connection cable terminates in a standard USB-A connector for easy connection to a wide range of gaming platforms and personal computers.
Ergonomics and design
The look of the plastic body is a direct nod to the colour scheme of the classic ZX Spectrum computer from the 1980s. The balanced weight of the entire game controller prevents wrist fatigue during long gaming sessions and contributes to better stability in your hands. The matte plastic surface provides a firm, non-slip grip and improves your control over the game. The physical dimensions are 100×150×80mm and meet standard ergonomic requirements.
