The Turtle Beach Afterglow Wave, RGB for Xbox in blue is designed for playing games on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PCs running Windows 10 and Windows 11. This officially licensed peripheral uses a wired connection via a 3m USB-C cable. Users can customise the settings of all controls and adjust button behaviour to suit their needs. The 0.3kg controller features 19 buttons, analogue sticks, and vibration motors.

Magnetic Hall-Effect triggers
The triggers use contactless Hall-Effect technology, which senses position via a magnetic field. This system prevents mechanical wear and tear, providing a consistent response throughout its use. Gamers can set the travel distance to three levels to suit the specific game genre. A short travel is perfect for fast-paced shooters, while the full range helps with precise throttle control in racing games.
Gamepad lighting
The controller has integrated LEDs split into eight independently adjustable zones. Users have eight preset lighting effects that change colours and brightness intensity. In the companion program, you can create your own colour combinations and transitions for each zone. The light zones can also be set to a constant colour of the player's choice.
Quick actions with programmable buttons
The underside of the controller features two additional Quick-Action buttons for rapid activation of in-game commands. These can be mapped to any standard button without interrupting your game. This lets players assign important commands to the back buttons, keeping their thumbs on both analogue sticks. Setup is done via the utility software.
Audio management
The D-pad allows for direct control of the volume and the balance between game audio and chat. Users don't need to open the console's system menu in the middle of a match. A separate button instantly mutes the microphone of a connected headset. You can plug your audio device directly into the controller's body via the integrated 3.5mm jack.
Customisation in the Control Hub app
The companion Control Hub app is available to download for both Xbox consoles and Windows PCs. In the program, you can perform detailed stick calibration and adjust trigger sensitivity. The app also serves for hardware diagnostics.
Shaped body and vibration
The build features an ergonomic design for a comfortable grip during long gaming sessions. The surface of the grips has a laser-etched texture that prevents them from slipping in your palms. The built-in dual vibration motors deliver feedback directly into the player's hands. Impulse triggers react to on-screen action, enhancing your perception of the game world.
