The Bosch SDS plus-5 drill bit is designed for drilling into masonry and concrete, but it can also handle stone. The SDS plus shank system ensures an efficient transfer of power from the hammer to the drill bit. The Activeteq centring tip provides precise starting without slipping on the surface. Additionally, the AWB brazing and hardening technology reduces vibrations during use.

Precise drilling with minimal vibration

The drill bit features an Activeteq centring tip, which actively guides the tool from the very start. The tip prevents slipping on the material and helps create a clean, precise hole. The AWB technology handles vibration reduction. This is a special brazing and hardening process that minimises vibrations. Furthermore, the spiral design with a carbide surface and flutes reduces the risk of the drill bit jamming in concrete or masonry.

Wear control and precise holes

To ensure the drilled hole meets the required dimensions, the drill bit is equipped with a visual wear indicator. The mark on the spiral shows whether the drill bit's diameter still meets strict tolerances. With the visual wear indicator, you can always be sure of the precise diameter of the drilled hole. Its quality is confirmed by certification from the PGM test board, which verifies compliance with tight tolerances and drilling accuracy. The drill bit has a steel body with a carbide tip and is made in Germany.
