The self-centring PointTeQ technology tip prevents wandering upon contact with the material, eliminating the need for pre-punching. The 135° tip bites into the surface immediately, guiding the drill bit exactly where you need it. This allows the twist drill bit to work faster with less friction, which reduces heat build-up when drilling into steel, non-ferrous metals, or plastics.
Durability and efficient material removal
The highly elastic drill bit body is made from high-speed steel (HSS). A reduced risk of breakage extends the service life of the tool, even under demanding use. The spiral flute features a black-oxide surface coating, which makes it easy to remove chips and shavings from the drilled hole. A clean hole and smooth material removal speed up the entire drilling process. The drill bit complies with the DIN 338 standard.
