HECHT AKU 5025 Cordless Rotary Lawn Mower (without battery)

The HECHT 5025 cordless lawnmower with plastic chassis is ideal for regular mowing of small lawn areas up to approx. 400 m². When mowing, you will especially appreciate its quiet operation and easy handling. You are not constrained by any power cables. The working width (blade width) is 32 cm and the grass clippings can be stored in the 26 litre basket. The cutting height can be centrally adjusted in 5 steps from 25 to 65 mm. The diameter of the front wheels is 5.5" and the rear wheels are 6". The mower can only be powered by a pair of 20 V/2.5 Ah lithium batteries, which are fully compatible with other products in the 6020 battery range. The battery and charger are not included.

Advantages of an electric motor

The mower's electric motor is silent and produces no smelly or toxic fumes. Compared to an internal combustion engine, you don't have to start the engine, perform regular maintenance, change oil and air filters. The electric motor is more reliable than the rather complicated internal combustion engine. However, the main disadvantage of a conventional electric machine is the need for a power cord. The cable restricts movement, and a little inattention can result in damage and possible electric shock. All these disadvantages are solved by powering the machine from a lightweight lithium battery.

Accu program 6020

To operate the HECHT 5025, you need a pair of 2.5 Ah batteries, which are backwards compatible with the entire ACCU 6020 range. If batteries with a lower capacity of 2 Ah (000620B) or only one battery are used, the batteries or the mower may be damaged. The Convenient Program allows you to use a single battery on multiple Hecht devices that are included in this program. This provides the opportunity to achieve significant savings as well as maximum utilisation of the battery and charger throughout their lifetime. Chargers and lithium batteries are already included in some instruments or can be purchased separately. Accu 6020 products are fully compatible with the 000625B battery.
