This early variety is intended for spring and autumn field cultivation. The tubers are medium-sized, oblong, purple-white, resistant to cracking. They are eaten raw and are also suitable for vegetable salads. The plants are resistant to the run-out of the flower.
Pre-growing is a commonly used method in horticulture, which consists of first planting the seeds in a controlled environment, such as a greenhouse or indoors, where they are protected from adverse weather conditions and allowed to grow in optimal temperature and humidity conditions. Once the plants reach a certain size or age, they are transplanted outdoors into a bed or outdoor environment. This technique allows gardeners to get a head start on the growing season, which is particularly useful in areas with a short growing season or for growing plants that require a longer time to reach maturity.
Direct sowing is a horticultural technique in which seeds are sown directly into their final habitat in the garden or bed, rather than first being planted in a controlled environment and then transplanted. This method is often used for plants that are sensitive to transplanting, such as carrots or beans.
