Easy installation and maximum visibility thanks to the Homematic IP smart meter interface
The interface for Homematic IP smart meters is easy to install yourself - the magnetic reading head is simply attached to the metal plate at the meter's data interface (IEC 62056-21) and connected to the Homematic IP application via the evaluation unit. This means you always have up-to-date consumption and instantaneous performance data, even going back in history. The device is compatible with most modern metering devices (mME according to IEC 62056-21), supports D0 and SML protocols and works with one- and two-tariff, bidirectional and delivery meters. In combination with the Homematic IP central unit, you get convenient control of your entire smart home via an intuitive mobile app. The app not only allows you to monitor your electricity consumption from anywhere in the world, but also use alerts, automation and a free cloud for secure system management and updates.
