The Icy Box IB-RD3720-CU3 external enclosure is the ideal solution for managing and storing large amounts of data. It is designed for two 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drives, supporting a total capacity of up to 60TB. It connects to your computer via a USB-C interface with transfer speeds of up to 5Gbit/s. The aluminium body, along with an active fan, ensures effective heat dissipation and keeps the drives in optimal operating conditions.

Flexible data management and reliable operation

The external enclosure gives you a choice of several modes for managing your drives. You can use RAID 0 for maximum speed, RAID 1 for mirroring and data security, LARGE (JBOD) to combine the capacity of both drives into one large volume, or SINGLE mode, where the system sees two separate drives. The aluminium chassis with an active fan ensures stable operation, effectively dissipating heat and protecting the drives from overheating. Thanks to Plug & Play and Hot Swap support, installing and replacing drives is very simple and does not require restarting your computer.
